AI Wardrobe

A six-person web application for managing clothing, building outfits, and generating virtual try-on previews.

My role Backend development and frontend API integration

AI Wardrobe is a team-built wardrobe and outfit planning application. Users can manage clothing, assemble outfits, and generate virtual try-on previews. The wider system uses Auth0 for identity, MongoDB for application data, Cloudinary for images, and Replicate for generation.

My contribution

  • Implemented Auth0 token validation and authenticated profile, clothing, and outfit APIs.
  • Scoped clothing operations to the signed-in user and connected closet create, edit, delete, and image-upload flows to the backend.
  • Implemented outfit endpoints and connected the try-on flow with authenticated requests.
  • Added backend tests for user and clothing routes and documented the API behaviour.

The application and visual design were developed by six people. My main contribution was the backend and its connection to the frontend, rather than sole ownership of the product or interface.

Availability

The source and setup instructions are public. There is no maintained public demo linked here; running the application requires the external authentication, database, image storage, and generation services described in the repository.
